Whatstandwell is on the side of a hill. There are steps everywhere. There are 5 uneven steps from the road to the front door. A step from the sitting room to the stairwell and two from the stairwell to the kitchen. The original staircase from the ground to the first floor is steep. The garden is terraced.
Vine Cottage is dog friendly, it has to be else Cookie our Golden Retriever couldn't go, but please let us know if you are taking a dog.
The heating and hot water is from an oil fired combi boiler.
